MANITOWOC, Wis. — They belong to the first cadre of nursing students to enjoy Silver Lake College’s recently renovated $1.5 million nursing wing. But that’s not all that distinguishes these juniors.
As the college prepares for the second class of students who will enroll in its new four-year BSN program, these students are responsible for establishing the college’s first Student Nursing Association.

MANITOWOC, Wis. — "Radiant color, lush luminosity and the bravura brushstrokes of the Russian Impressionist tradition" is how Bonnita Budysz’s vibrant painting style has been described.
Silver Lake College will present “The Nurture of Nature,” an exhibit of works by the Two Rivers artist, Feb. 20-March 31 in the Lake’s Edge Gallery in the Franciscan Center for Music Education and Performance on campus, 2406 S. Alverno Road.
MANITOWOC, Wis. — Silver Lake College welcomes Matt Goff as its new dean of SLC Works, the college’s recently adopted Work College model.
In fall of 2016, Silver Lake College became the first Catholic college in the nation -- and the state’s first institution of higher education -- to begin working toward becoming a Work College. The initiative gives students the opportunity to earn a valuable degree while gaining professional skills through jobs on and off campus.
