Jeff Kurowski is Zimmer Forum speaker on Nov. 14

MANITOWOC, Wis. — Jeff Kurowski will be guest speaker at Silver Lake College’s next Father Bill Zimmer Forum. He is associate editor for The Compass, the newspaper of the Diocese of Green Bay.

The book group, which is free and open to the public, is scheduled from noon to 1 p.m. on Nov. 14, in the Endries Family Heritage Room at Silver Lake College, 2406 S. Alverno Road. The event is presented by Silver Lake College in collaboration with St. Francis of Assisi Parish.

Kurowski will focus on the book, “The Red Bandanna: A Life, A Choice, A Legacy” by Tom Rinaldi. 

Kurowski has won multiple awards from the Catholic Press Association of the United States and Canada, including two first place honors and a third place honor. He is a 1988 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. Kurowski resides in Green Bay and is a member of St. John the Baptist Parish in Howard, where he serves as a catechist.

Involvement in his community includes being a member of the Serra Club of Green Bay and coaching baseball at numerous levels for the past 16 years.
