The Lady Lakers improved their record to 12-8 with two victories this past weekend on the road in snowy Michigan. The one win however came as a forfeit. Great Lakes Christian College could not field a team resulting in the forfeit. It will go down as a 2-0 win.

Saturday night the Lady Lakers defeated Andrew University in Barrien Springs Michigan, 61-29. The team came out a bit sluggish to start the game but played very well with a lot of energy on defense holding the Lady Cardinals to 15 points while scoring 35. The second half the Lady Lakers held Andrew to 14 points to seal the victory.

Leading the way for the Lady Lakers was Kaela Cheesmen hitting 4 out of 6 shots from the 3 point line with a total of 12 points. Shanice Wilson also scored in double digits with 10 points. Jacquelyn Tanner had 3 assist and 3 steals.

The Lady Lakers will be on the road once again this Wednesday taking on a very tough Indiana Northwest University.
