Public invited to student vocal recital on Dec. 15

MANITOWOC, Wis. — The public is invited to the vocal recital of Silver Lake College student Emily Tyeptanar at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 15.

The recital will be held in the Franciscan Center for Music Education and Performance on campus, 2406 S. Alverno Road. There is no charge for admission. 

Tyeptanar, of Manitowoc, is a senior studying general and choral music education. She plans to open her own vocal studio and to continue her education in vocal performance at the graduate level. She aspires to teach high school choir and to perform on the opera stage.

The recital will feature the music of Johann Sebastian Bach, Roger Quilter, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Richard Strauss, Franz Liszt, Georges Bizet and Gian Carlo Menotti. Tyeptanar will sing in English, German, Italian and French.
