Public invited to vocal program on Feb. 7

MANITOWOC, Wis. — The Silver Lake College Music Department will present a Master Class with soprano Bergen Baker from 3 to 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 7 in the Franciscan Center for Music Education and Performance on campus, 2406 S. Alverno Road.

The public is invited to attend the free vocal program.

Baker has been a featured artist with organizations including the Minnesota Opera, the Minnesota Orchestra, the Twin Cities Skylark Opera Theatre and others across the Midwest. She is a highly sought-after teaching artist, offering residencies, workshops and master classes to students and communities across the country. 

The program will feature students Christopher Ducasse, Noah Liermann, Theresa Nier, Young Moua and Tyler Jensen.  

Music will include “I Bought Me a Cat,” arranged by Aaron Copland; “Batti, batti o bel Masetto” from “Don Giovanni,” by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart; and “This is the Moment” from “Jekyll & Hyde,” by Frank Wildhorn.
