Posted On July 07, 2014

UNDERGRAD_PCW_2Silver Lake College, along with Wisconsin’s other 22 private, nonprofit colleges and universities, is taking part in Wisconsin Private College Week, which will be July 14-19.

Celebrating its 19th year, Wisconsin Private College Week is sponsored by the Wisconsin Association of Independent Colleges and Universities (WAICU) and provides students an opportunity to visit all of Wisconsin’s private, nonprofit colleges.

During Wisconsin Private College Week, students can take advantage of campus tours, meet with admissions counselors, get financial aid and scholarship information, and more.

Students also can register to win one of five $1,000 “Go Grants” during Wisconsin Private College Week to apply toward tuition at one of Wisconsin’s private nonprofit colleges or universities.

“Wisconsin’s private nonprofit colleges and universities are committed to making college affordable. The key question everyone should ask is, ‘Which college or university is best for me?’” said Dr. Rolf Wegenke, president of WAICU.
