Silver Lake College’s Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Completion Program has achieved continuing accreditation for 10 years by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Association (CCNE).
The CCNE is an autonomous accrediting agency contributing to the improvement of the public’s health. Silver Lake College’s BSN Completion Program underwent an extensive self-assessment and on-site survey by CCNE expert surveyors in October 2013.
Status as an accredited organization means the BSN program at Silver Lake College has met the nationally recognized Standards for Accreditation of Baccalaureate Nursing set by the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN).
“Going through the process challenged me to ensure the quality and integrity of our program, and it is a constant reminder that our responsibility is to strive to continuously improve the education we provide,” said Brianna Neuser, Interim Assistant Dean for School of Professional Studies.
