Silver Lake College’s summer camp offers college experience for kids; Deadline to register is July 15

MANITOWOC, WIS. — From fine arts to sciences, students entering grades 3-9 have the opportunity to get a taste of the college experience at Camp Explore from July 24-28 on the Silver Lake College campus, 2406 S. Alverno Road. Deadline to register is July 15.

The high-energy, fun-filled college exploration and liberal arts summer camp is led by college faculty. Students can explore their academic interests, discover new hobbies, make friends and develop their creative, critical thinking and leadership skills. Campers take two classes, participate in community service and enrichment activities, and enjoy a field trip at the end of the week.

Cost is $135 for commuter students (entering grades 3-9) and $265 for residential students (entering grades 5-9).

A $50 deposit, which is nonrefundable and nontransferable, is required at the time of registration. The deadline for payment balances is July 15. Scholarships and payment plans also are available.
