MANITOWOC, Wis. -- The Silver Lake College music department will present a choral concert at 7 p.m. on March 24 in the Franciscan Center for Music Education and Performance on campus, 2406 S. Alverno Road. The concert is open to the public. Tickets are $5.
Performing are the Silver Lake Handbell Ensemble, under the direction of Sandra Eithun; and the Silver Lake Women’s Ensemble and Silver Lake Men’s Ensemble, both under the direction of Dr. Ken Harned. The concert will feature Silver Lake College music faculty members Emily Davis singing soprano, Dr. Diana Shapiro on piano and Dr. Ron Rivero on oboe.
“Singers from the Silver Lake Chorale and Silver Lake Concert Choir are studying music composed for men’s and women’s voices this semester and will be performing in men’s and women’s ensembles for the concert,” Harned said.
Performers include Mary Borree, Tyler Burk, Markobi Carr, Sister Winifred Crevier, Shannon DeGrave, Will Elliott, Jeffrey Erdman, Brad Fahley, Cheri Frusher, Corinne Galligan, Israel Gonzalez, Molly Hahn, Tyler Jensen, Ben Johnston, Bob Kleckner, Emma Knickelbine, Brian Liddle, Noah Liermann, Sister Mary Frances Maher, Lydia Matthews, Jonathan McConnell, Theresa Nier, Benjamin Karnitz, Mary Jo Koeppen, Peg Kulas, Sister Mary Lou Loonsfoot, Ashli Mims, Kevin Sievert, Katherine Sohn, Mitch Thomson, Emily Tyeptaner and Carol Wendt.
