MANITOWOC, Wis. — Silver Lake College will present a performance by the Prometheus Trio as part of its Artist Music Series.

The concert will start at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 18 in the Franciscan Center for Music Education and Performance on campus, 2406 S. Alverno Road.

The program includes works by Gabriel Fauré, Daron Hagen and Antonín Dvořák.

The Prometheus Trio gave its inaugural performance at the Elvejem Museum in Madison in January of 2000. The ensemble often has appeared on Wisconsin Public Radio’s “Live from the Chazen” series as well.

The trio features founding members Scott Tisdel, associate principal cellist emeritus of the Milwaukee Symphony, and Stefanie Jacob, who made her solo pianist debut with the Boston Pops at age 17 and her Carnegie Recital Hall debut in 1984. Violinist Margot Schwartz, a member of the first violin section in the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra, made guest appearances with the trio during the 2014-15 season, and joined the group in spring of 2015.

Tickets are $15 for adults, $13 for seniors and $5 for students (ages 5-18).
