SLC to host literary discussion on Nov. 2

MANITOWOC, Wis. — The Silver Lake College English department will host the discussion, “Everyday Horror & the Fiction of Nathan Ballingrud,” from noon to 1 p.m. on Nov. 2 as a part of SLC’s Salon Series.

The discussion will be held in the Endries Family Heritage Room at Silver Lake College, 2406 S. Alverno Road in Manitowoc. This event is free and open to the public. 

Dr. Mark Heimermann, assistant professor of English, will facilitate a discussion of Ballingrud’s short story, “You Go Where It Takes You.” He also will discuss why some might find horror in our everyday existence.
